Mi interés se centra en la evolución, estructura y función de enzimas que participanen el metabolismo energético de las gammaproteobacterias del género Vibrio, especialmente en las enzimas que participan en la vía glucolítica y que se encuentran duplicadas en su genoma.

- Análisis de la estructura y función de las tres isoformas de piruvato cinasa presentes en Vibrios.
- Estudio del proceso de oligomerización y su importancia en la función y estructura de la isofoforma II de piruvato cinasa de Vibrio cholerae
- La isoforma M2 de piruvato cinas (PKM2) como diana en cáncer hemato-oncológico
